If you’ve been reading Fernando’s Blogg you might have seen his beautiful smoke pictures. I’ve decided to try it myself and I’m publishing it although I’m not so pleased with the result. I’ll have to give it anothe try some time.

Who’s in?
I like the red ones definitely.
TIP: take 500 pictures or so at very high shutter speed.
10 will be fine for working colors in Photoshop and 3 out of those will please you in the end… rinse and repeat :)
TIP2: Use a spoon to accumulate some smoke, turn it and release the smoke… shoot
TIP3: Breathe or blow gently in the smoke column direction on a few shots… you might end up doing some interesting ones.
TIP4: Lock the cat in some other room.
